Good to know

  • Fitness: Beginner-friendly with a reasonable level of fitness; good trekking shoes are mandatory.
  • Carry: Warm layers, rain protection, gloves, a personal medical kit and a 40–50L backpack. Trekking poles are optional. A valid government photo ID is required.
  • Meals: Breakfast and dinner are included; lunch is on you.
  • Weather: Himalayan weather changes fast, so the itinerary may be adjusted for safety.
  • Network & power: Connectivity and charging are limited beyond Govindghat.
  • Safety: No alcohol or smoking on the trek; your trek leader's calls are final. Please carry your waste back out with you.
