Good to know

  • Season: Late January onwards, when snow conditions are best for learning.
  • Experience: No prior skiing needed — the camp is built for beginners. Ski days run roughly 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
  • Pickup & Drop: Srinagar airport.
  • Carry: Heavy winter layers, waterproof gloves, thermals, woollen socks, goggles or sunglasses, high-SPF sunscreen, lip balm and personal medication. Ski jacket and pants can be rented locally.
  • Weather: Mountain weather changes fast, so lessons and Gondola rides may be rescheduled for safety.
  • Safety: On the slopes, your instructor's and trip captain's calls are final.
