Good to know

  • Start & end: The trip starts and ends in Pune.
  • Carry: Light cottons, swimwear, flip-flops, sunscreen, a rain layer for the coast and a valid government photo ID.
  • Tides: The Bamanghal sea cave is only walkable around low tide, so your captain fixes the timing on the day and the order of stops may shift.
  • Ferry: The Bagmandla–Bankot ferry is government-operated and pauses in rough weather — we then take the road via Mangaon, with nothing else changing.
  • Temples: Modest clothing and footwear left outside. Harihareshwar's parikrama is a barefoot walk on wet rock — go slow.
  • Weather: Monsoon on the coast means warm rain and rough seas; swimming only where your captain clears it.
  • Rooms: Shared with fellow travellers of the same gender, unless you book twin sharing as a pair.
